US 45 roundabout to open in Winnebago County
Multi-lane roundabout set to handle traffic
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region Office in Green Bay is announcing a multi-lane roundabout at the intersection of US 45/Fernau Avenue/Lake Butte des Morts Drive will open to traffic by the end of the day on Wednesday, August 18.
The roundabout is part of a $3.2 million project to upgrade the US 41/45 interchange in Oshkosh. The work included the reconstruction of Fernau Avenue, Walter Street (Snell Road) and Stillman Drive, and the construction of the roundabout at the new US 45/Fernau Avenue/Lake Butte des Morts Drive intersection.
Motorists are advised to remain alert and use caution when driving through this or any work zone.
