CNN ‘Manipulated’ by the Tea Party?
Was CNN manipulated by the Tea Party in partnering with it during its recent presidential candidate debate? According to this article from Media Bistro and TV Newser the network definitely was, and many journalists are outraged about what they perceive as a huge ethical problem. What's more, the American Journalism Review says the partnership represents a conflict of interest for the network. What do you think?

The tea "party" itself is a gigantic vehicle and manipulation. Instead of focusing our anger on the corporate thugs who engineered the greatest misallocation of our society's resources EVER, we're busy attacking their political proxy (the tea party), or busy defending ourselves from their fake grassroots activities. Notice how differently the media covers the protesters occupying Wall Street. In other words, REAL protesters. When can we expect CNN to hold a debate for them? Oh wait, I forgot. They weren't "started" by a Congressman booted out for corruption, turned lobbyist.
