Here is what's playing this week on Eye on Oshkosh...

Be sure to join us starting Monday, November 26 when Cheryl spends the first half hour with Jessica Miller and Pam DeLap who share with her information about the Oshkosh Inclusive Park Project. Since first organizing and getting the Oshkosh Parks Department on board this group has made tremendous movement in their efforts to have a park where all are welcome, but there are many features that make it accessible for children and adults with physical, emotional or mental challenges. We'd like to think that all of our beautiful parks are open to anyone, but if you've ever been restricted by mobility issues, for example - even if just for a short period of time - you know you can't maneuver a walker or wheelchair on grassy areas. etc. This park seeks to remove those types of barriers and challenges. Jessica and Pam discuss the various needs, explain the many things that have happened since they first came up with the idea, and show architectural renderings of the park design.

In the second half hour, Joe Ferlo from the Oshkosh Grand Opera House stops by to discuss how things have been going since the renovations were completed last year, what the response has been from both the public and the performers who play this beautiful and historic venue, and what's on the calendar for the upcoming holiday season.

In the Oshkosh area, "Eye on Oshkosh" can be seen Mondays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 6 p.m. on local cable access channel 2 (Time Warner Cable). Check with your local cable company or its TV listings for replay times in other, more outlying areas. “Eye on Oshkosh” also may air at times other than just those listed.
