Eye On Oshkosh - OPD, Magic the Therapy Dog - taped 10-6-2022

The Oshkosh Police Department is always trying to be proactive and this show features one way that they strive to do that. Magic - a 2-year-old Golden Retriever - and her handler, Officer Scott Sopata, work in the behavioral health "division" of the PD. Together they help calm people having a mental health situation. But Magic is also a Facility Dog in that when not out on a call in the community, she and Sopata are at the department and any employee of the department who needs to de-stress can come to their office and hang out with Magic for a bit.
