A couple of the biggest issues include measures passed by Republicans in the December lame duck session that, in essence, took away some power from the incoming governor Tony Evers and incoming attorney general Josh Kaul. There’s also a rousing discussion about the federal government shutdown by the Trump
administration over billions of dollars for a southern border wall and where the shutdown will lead. Other topics focused on the Mueller investigation, campaign finance reform, prison reform, school reform, and new laws people need to be aware of that took effect Jan. 1 or shortly thereafter.
