with the audience how to recognize signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease;
the various stages of dementia; how to approach a loved one about their
possibly being in the early stages of dementia; how to keep your brain healthy;
and many other topics related to dementia and Alzheimer’s. Approximately 6 to
6.5 million people in the United States are currently living with Alzheimer’s
disease and related dementias. Most are age 65 and older, but there are about
200,000 people under the age of 65 with younger-onset Alzheimer’s. With the
number of Alzheimer’s cases alone projected to rise to an estimated 14 million
