Eye on Oshkosh "celebrates" Veterans Day with a special guest

In this episode of Eye on Oshkosh, host Cheryl Hentz visits with Oshkosh Parks director Ray Maurer during the first half of the show about proposed user fees for local softball/baseball groups wanting to use city fields. They also briefly discuss how things are going now that dogs are allowed in many city parks, and the concerns surrounding the presence of animal exhibits in a city park during Sawdust Days in late June/early July.

In the second segment, Hentz chats with Dave Kersztyn, president of the Military Veterans Museum and Education Center in Oshkosh. With Veterans' Day right around the corner we thought this was a nice way of publicizing the museum and its mission, as well as discussing respect for military vets and the flag, etc. And to all veterans, including our four-legged military dogs,

Eye on Oshkosh wishes each and every one of you a Happy Veterans Day. Thank you for your service so we Americans can each enjoy the many freedoms we share and often take for granted.
