Eye on Oshkosh - Tibetan monks exhibit and Y2Y Advocates for Justice

During the first segment in this episode of Eye on Oshkosh, Cheryl Hentz talks with Interfaith Coordinator Rev. Tom Willadsen and Christine Melms-Simon, special projects coordinator at The Paine Art Center and Gardens about the upcoming Tibetan exhibit at The Paine. It runs from March 17-24, 2019 and features portraits from documentary filmmaker and photographer Phil Borges, as well as beautiful artwork with sand that Tibetan monks will make during the week, then release back to nature at the end of the exhibit. It is a beautiful exhibit that you will not want to miss. In all, the event includes educational programs, a community art project and a performance at The Grand on March 23.

In the second segment, Hentz talks with three members of a group known as Youth to Youth (or Y2Y) Advocates for Justice. This is a youth-centered leadership program that advocates for social and racial justice, and the prevention of violence in all of its forms. You can see the show in its
