Daytime noise expected near Little Lake Butte des Morts in Winnebago County
Work begins on Roland Kampo Bridge next week
(Fox Valley) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing daytime construction operations will begin on Monday, October 31 near the Little Lake Butte des Morts area in Winnebago County. Residents near the bridge may experience noise, including sawing, hammering, construction equipment and backup beepers. Daytime noise is likely to occur for several months.
The daytime construction is associated with work on reconditioning the existing bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts. Work will include removing bridge deck and adding new deck and parapets (barrier walls), realigning bridge ends with new piers, painting girders and attaching new bridges on westbound end of bridge.
